Hailing from the deep dark woods of Aurskog-Holand, VARGARIKET was created by Sturlason and Turgeis in 1995. The idea was to play fast and furious Norwegian Old School Black Metal. Steering away from the traditional Black Metal drumming and forming a rather unique drumming style with a kind of off-beat and much more laid back drumming, VARGARIKET created their own new sub-genre: Aasgard Metal. This CD release contains their 1996 Demo plus a live recorded rehearsal session entitled "Yggdrasil" and one exclusive song recorded in 1997.
Industrial manufactured pro-dublicated CDR. Packed in a 6-panel glossy Digipack and sealed in a PVC sleeve. Strictly limited to 100 handnumbered copies.
