After the release of the lengendary STORMFRONT Demo " "Styggmyrs Triumf" back in 1997 the Lillehammer three-piece went on hiatus and V.E. aka Skarpretteren found two new combatanats to start STYGGMYR. In 2000 the band recorded their first rehearsal Demo under the titel "Stigma Diabolicum" including three midtempo Black Metal tunes in the raw Norwegian tradition. Later on in their existence, STYGGMYR released two albums under HEAD NOT FOUND Records owned by well-known Metalion (SLAYER Mag and Euronymous´ best buddy). "Stigma Diabolicum" is massively packed with the old spirit of the Second Wave and its´ early 90´ recordings from bands like TRELLDOM, STORMFRONT , ISVIND, FIMBULWINTER and NEETZACH.
Strictly limited DIY "retro" tape rerelease. Duplicated brand tapes (SONY, TDK, BASF) with inkjet printed cover inlays on 160gr. thick paper. CNB stamp on the back. Handnumbered. Done completely at home like the old days. No commercial manufacturing. Limited to 21 copies.
